About the beach
Calangute is basically a town in the North of Goa. It is located 15 km away from Panjim. This is the largest beach in the North and travelers can find people from all walks of life. The beach covers 7 km which means you can go for a long walk with your beloved or have a good run in the morning and evening.
It is a busy beach that is lined with a number of famous bars and restaurants. Some of the most famous restaurants in this town include Pousada by the Beach, Koi Asian Dining and bar, Chelsea Beach Shack, Harry’s Bar and Restaurant, Fat Fish, and Tibetan Kitchen.
Things to do
Calangute is famous for adventure sports such as water skiing, surfing, and parasailing. Enjoy fresh seafood at the restaurants and bars. Beer is super cheap in Goa!
