Panchachuli Peaks Uttarakhand
Panchachuli peaks are the most viewable snow-covered peaks from the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand. “Panchachuli” words derive like – “Pancha” means Five and Chuli mean “Chulha,” the cooking hearth. An ancient story about those peaks is that the Pandavas of Mahabharat cooked their last meal upon those “Chulha” before proceeding towards heavenly adobe.

Panchachuli Base Camp Location
Panchachuli base camp is located at “Dharchula” in the Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand. Earlier, the trek to base camp starts from “Dhar” village. But now newly road has constructed up to “Duktu.” The driving route passes through Dharchula, Tawaghat, Sobla, Dhar, Sela, Bowling, and Duktu. Trek from Duktu to Panchachuli base camp is only 10Kms one side. The whole trekking journey of Panchachuli Base Camp across the beautiful “Darma Valley.” It’s one of the most enchanting valleys of Uttarakhand, offering the splendid view of snow-covered peaks of the Panchachuli range.
