Known more popularly as Kesarval springs, it is situated near the Verna Cliffs. The name Kesarval comes from the reference to Eagles (Kesar – Val) that nests around this region, especially near the springs. Unfortunately, the Eagles are not here anymore but you can still witness the springs which burst out from between the rocks and trees with loud yet mesmerizing noise.
However, the place is getting too crowded with tourists not only because of its beauty but also the hearsay healing effects of its water. It is said to heal skin, eyes, and internal problems of the body, which has attracted a lot of people from around the country in the hope of healing themselves.
Nevertheless, the springs are extensive enough to inhabit the crowd. The thrust of the water is also strong enough to take away all the dirt and making this place clean and beautiful.
The beauty of these springs is at its peak in monsoon when water flows with full vigor. We suggest taking a couple of extra clothes with you if you want to take a plunge into the water. The best time to visit this place is from 9 in the morning till 7 in the evening.
